Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane is the first project to qualify for the First 2020 LEGO Ideas Review. The LEGO Ideas submission by DisneyBrick55 needed a mere 3 months to achieve the required 10,000 supporters to qualify for the review. LEGO will evaluate this project and other qualifying designs later this year to determine which, if any, will be approved for future LEGO sets.

Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane is based on the 1964 Disney movie “Mary Poppins”. It features Cherry Tree Lane, a furnished version of the Banks’ family home, and 8 minifigures. Two additional buildings are designed as facades to resemble a movie set.

Designer Disneybrick55 is no stranger to LEGO Ideas, recently winning the “Recreating a Magical Harry Potter Moment” contest on LEGO Ideas with his submission walk to hogsmeade. Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane is his first project submission to achieve 10,000 supporters.

We featured Mary Poppins, Cherry Tree Lane on the BrickGeekz Blog in December 2019 as one of our Ten Awesome LEGO Ideas Projects with More Than 5,000 Supporters. Other designs that are destined to qualify for the First 2020 LEGO Ideas Review include UCS Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (currently at 9311 supporters with 382 days remaining), The Train Station: Studgate (9222 supporters, 547 days remaining), and Tesla Cybertruck (9034 supporters, 747 days remaining).
