LEGO Announces Price, Release Date for 10272 “Old Trafford – Manchester United” Creator Expert Set

GGMU !! a real treat for Manchester united and football fans around the world. Love or hate Manchester united this is an awesome set, and has been officially announced by LEGO, to the reception of much controversy. Does this mean more football stadiums ?

Admittedly not all of us like Manchester united or Football as a matter, but on the whole this is a exeptional set, and clearly Looks like an exact replica of the theatre of dreams. Again this is LEGO at their strongest design point, using our little plastic friends in unimaginable ways that can only be described as simply superb. The first thing i looked for was, and If you are a manchester united fan that you will know that the stretford end is the most significant stand and part of the old stadium, I was super happy to see this marked out in white tiles. Perfect, and then on Sir matt Busby way we have the statues of George best, Dennis Law and Sir Bobby charlton . This is signified by three nano figures. I am in love with this set, and understandbly i get why people wanted. Anfeild , Stamford Bridge Their home team And Lets hope more are to come, I would Love nothing more than a collection of LEGO stadiums from around the world.

I am sure that when Manchester united fans go into the store to Look for memorabilila nothing will be more significant than having your own LEGO replica of Old trafford and this magnificent stadium. At nearly 4k thousand peices this will keep any afol busy for hours. I cant wait to own this.

The LEGO Group issued a press release today announcing new details and images for the upcoming LEGO Creator Expert set Old Trafford – Manchester United. The set will include 3898 pieces and retail for $299.99/€269.99. Dimensions are 6.5” (18.5cm) high, 18” (47cm) long, and 15” (39cm) wide.

The set will be available exclusively for VIP members starting on 16 January 2020 in LEGO retail stores and online at www.LEGO.com/Old-Trafford. General availability will begin on 1 February 2020.

According to the press release, “The model is a true celebration of the passion for the game shared by fans all over the world, paying special homage to Manchester United fans. Developed particularly for fans aged sixteen and up, the high attention to detail makes this LEGO model of Old Trafford so special. The 1:600 replica model features several authentic details including the United Trinity statue and the Munich memorial clock.”
