“Queen – The Miracle Express” Achieves 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

"Queen - The Miracle Express" is one of an unprecedented 26 projects to qualify for the First 2020 LEGO Ideas Review

As we continue to play catch-up with recent projects that qualified for the First 2020 LEGO Ideas Review, the next set we’re featuring is Queen – The Miracle Express by Artistic Shadow.

Based on the 1989 song “Breakthru” from the rock group Queen, The Miracle Express features the band along with the train used in the song’s music video. Included is a GWR 2884 Class 2-8-0 steam locomotive with tender, which would be compatible with Lego train motors. The design proposal also features the flatbed carriage where the band performs during the video, along with flags, sound speakers, and Roger Taylor’s drumkit.

The design proposal includes five minifigures; Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Debbie Leng as the mysterious masked woman.

“Queen – The Miracle Express” is one of an unprecedented 26 projects to qualify for the First 2020 LEGO Ideas Review. You can view all of the projects that have qualified for the review on the Ideas page of the BrickGeekz Blog. You can also read our blog post on the 12 projects that are currently under consideration for the Third 2019 LEGO Ideas Review.

Results of both LEGO Ideas reviews will be announced later this year.
