New “Build United!” Contest at LEGO Ideas

If you’re a fan of Manchester United and the spectacular new “Old Trafford – Manchester United” Expert LEGO Creator set, then you’re going to love the new contest at LEGO Ideas. In the first contest for 2020, you’re challenged to build “anything and everything” related to Manchester United.

According to the blog article posted on LEGO Ideas today, the contest is rather simple. LEGO is “looking for goal recreations, brick-built badges, or even player statues! It doesn’t matter what it is, so long as it celebrates The Red Devils!”

Entries are due no later than February 20th, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. EST. One grand prize winner and two runner-up winners will be selected by a LEGO panel of judges. The winning entries will be announced no later than March 19, 2020.

The prizes for this contest are quite remarkable. The grand prize winner will receive the following:

• Exclusive Manchester United Merchandise
• LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford
• LEGO Creator Expert 10270 Bookshop
• LEGO Creator Expert 10255 Assembly Square

The two runner-up winners will also receive some incredible prizes:

• LEGO Technic 42093 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
• A $150 Spending Spree on LEGO.com
