I haven’t bought a Speed Champions set before but with the new cars that will be available at the LEGO Shop on January 1, I think that’s about to change.
The biggest difference in the new Speed Champions sets is that LEGO upgraded the vehicle design from 6 studs wide to 8 studs wide. That may not sound like much but the extra width allows for a far more realistic vehicle dimension while adding an extra layer of detail that was never quite possible with the original style.
Take a look at the images below and I think you’ll agree that this is the best year ever for the LEGO Speed Champions series.
