LEGO recently announced the impending release of two new display-themed busts featuring classic the Star Wars characters of Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper. Each consists of 625 to 650 parts and will likely be sold in the range of $70 to $80 USD.
Reaction to the announcement on the BrickGeekz social media channels has been overwhelmingly positive. The two new sets are designed for the adult collector market, with an 18+ age rating and featuring Architecture-style packaging and a display stand with labeling. These are not the first Star Wars busts to be released by LEGO, but hopefully Boba Fett and Stormtrooper will be the first of a new line of collectible Star Wars sets.
We read a lot of comments online about which bust was better, so we thought this would be a great opportunity to make out or first BrickGeekz Blog poll. Which bust do you like better? Vote now!
DID YOU KNOW … The BrickGeekz social media channels are well-known for the daily minifigure poll. But we’ve never tried a poll on the blog before. Blogging is still very new for us, and even though you are reading the 55th article we have posted to date, we are still figuring this out as we go along.
So running polls here on the blog may be a hit or it may be a .. er .. bust. But you can help us out by answering the poll and subscribing to the blog and reading our articles. The more views that we get, the more clout we will have as the newest LEGO blog.
